Science Festival: Global Warming and Climate Change
The Conference was most enjoyable and successful. Many thanks to all who made the day possible and especially to the speakers Ed Hawkins, David Braine, Derrick Ryall and Steve Hayfield.
The jazz festival is over for 2010. and most successful it was. Over three days there were two evening events: Ella to Louis with Maggie Reeday and Digby Fairweather backed by Craig MIlverton. The second evening starred the Brian Moore Festival Big Band with Alex Hawker entitled Basie to Sinatra. Finally the South West Allstars played Dixieland to an appreciative lunchtime audience.

Friends of the Festival enjoy priority booking. Have you considered supporting the festival this year?
We are most grateful to our main sponsor for the last three years, solicitors Messrs Michelmores. Their support for the Festival has been most successful on both sides.
We now seek a new lead sponsor hopefully for another 3 year period in order to see the arrangement develop. In particular we have much to offer a professional firm. Budleigh Salterton is known to have influencial residents who prize the Festival and wish to see it flourish and who will be very supportive of the new main sponsor. The Festival is becoming known throughout East Devon and beyond with mentions and reviews in local, regional and national media.
